Status: Active
Start Date: August 2022
TCE jointly fund this programme with the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) through the
The programme brings together experts from science, policy and industry to understand how offshore wind affects ecosystems, and the species and habitats that make them, in order to reduce negative impacts on marine life while tackling climate change. The programme is made up of four innovative projects, working alongside each other to address complementary knowledge gaps, and provide new evidence in support of marine policy and the sustainable management of offshore wind development. These projects interact with each other and with the latest marine policy and planning developments to ensure they are as impactful as possible at every stage.
